Founded in 2008 and registered as a non-profit in Alberta, the Urhobo Progress Union Calgary serves as a home away from home for Urhobo families in the Calgary Metropolitan Region. Our work is rooted in three enduring commitments.

UPUA 2025 Convention

UPUC delegates joined the Urhobo Progress Union America annual convention, strengthening ties across the North American Urhobo diaspora.

Family Picnic 2026

Our annual Family Picnic brought the community together for food, culture, and fellowship beneath the Calgary summer sky.
